For the past few springs Kim has been running fund raiser hiking trips in the Utah desert (to raise money for the Mountain Spirits Fund which helps families in Nepal). This past spring there was a desert primrose super-bloom in Arches National Park that was epic! (A super-bloom is a rare desert botanical phenomenon in which an unusually high proportion of wildflowers whose seeds have lain dormant in the desert soil germinate and blossom at roughly the same time).  All you have to do is show up in the desert and magic happens!
