TREKKING IN NEPAL
Nepal is where Mountain Spirits began! Back in 1996 we ran our first guided trek in Nepal. It was a 6 week trek, can you imagine?! Nepal never gets old-many people who have trekked with us in Nepal have returned year after year for a different trek in a different area. It is hands down the most beloved destination we offer and it’s all because of the Nepali people. Come and see for yourself!

Trekking in the Khumbu: This trekking journey begins in Lukla, heads up to Ama Dablam basecamp and then over to the stunning turquoise lakes of Gokyo. Along the way, trekker will have the opportunity to reach high points of nearly 18,000 feet with lovely views of MT Everest and the surrounding 8000 meter peaks (weather permitting). This is a teahouse journey meaning we will be staying in lodges (some quite nice, others more basic) and we will be accompanied by our talented and well trained staff. Nepal is lovely in the spring and fall. Summer is Monsoon season and winter can be great but many of the hotels and restaurants are closed. We have staff available in Kathmandu to join you during any season.
